so today was the end of the 3rd day. i haven't had a chance to swipe a picture of the office or the mug yet. i've been pretty busy. theres tons of work to be done and not enough time to do it. i am so excited to be working on the stuff im working on. i cant say its a dream job, but its pretty close. it has been a while since ive been able to just do engineering work without having to worry a lot about budgets and schedule. so far, we are just working at our pace good enough to get the work done when needed. so in that sense, its great. i just hope it stays like that.

also, tonight, i got to have dinner with my coworkers and my bosses boss (head of engineering for the electrical group) and it was great. we hit up the chart house for dinner in redondo. it was really great getting to know the director that soon. he was really eager to meet us and it was great to be wanted again. it has been a long time coming i think for most of us when we were at BAE.

anyways, it seems like the company has great direction and has a great future. i am very excited to be working here and i hope that all of my former colleagues can come join me. big things will be happening here for sure.
